Why Provide Courtesy Transportation?

Why Provide Courtesy Transportation?

It is easy to take transportation for granted, but if you have been in a car accident, not only are you injured, but it is likely that your primary mode of transportation has been damaged, as well. Even if you were harmed in a work-related injury or another type of accident, the pain associated with injury can be enough to keep you from getting behind the wheel.

Focus on the Patient

Access to courtesy transportation is just another way that the injury care center provides patient-centered care. We believe that patient respect, emotional support, and access to care are critically important and supporting a full-body rehabilitation. Part of that includes ensuring that you can make your appointment to see our well-trained specialist without worrying about transportation.

Work Toward Recovery

We believe that patient-centered care is proven to help speed recovery. In fact, one study found that the effects of patient-centered care for those recovering from severe injuries had a clinically and statistically significant reduction in the percentage of any severe post injury concerns.

Research has proven that increased levels of stress can directly and negatively impact recovery. Psychological stress can extend the time required to heal wounds by 25% or more because your immune system plays a central role in physical healing. The goal of providing complimentary transportation to our office for your appointment is to help you work toward recovery rather than worry about unnecessary costs or inconveniences.

Simply the Right Thing to do

We think that it is an ethical and morally sound obligation to provide transportation to our patients.

We understand that other medical service providers tend to over charge for items that range from extra time with the doctor to emergency appointments, but we believe that the way to treat a patient holistically, both mentally and physically, is to alleviate any concerns that a patient may face in his or her everyday life. One simple way we can give back to you is by providing complimentary transportation to our offices.

The primary focus of treatment is not itemised billing, but individualized care.
